Marco Tettero Pro Line Field Tester

Hello,
My name is Marco Tettero, I was born in 1979 and I live in Venray. I am married to Eugenie and we have a son named Gavin. I am active in fishing for over 25 years now. I started fishing with my father and from the first time I saw a little carp I was hooked. In the beginning I only fished a little pond in the neighbourhood. At the age of 15 I started night fishing at some local ponds. When I got my drivers license a new world opened up to me and I started fishing on some Dutch canals and some of the smaller lakes in France. St Cassien what can I say; I had a session of one month there and caught really well. Ever since that time I am totally hooked on this lake. In 2000 I fished for 12 weeks on the lake and the biggest fish for me then was Blackspot at the weight of 22,5 kg.

In 2001 me and my fishing friend Jan had a bad experience at a lake in France where we were robbed. Three men with guns stole almost all of our fishing tackle. That's something you will never forget and it had a deep impact on my life. But angling is in my blood and after a while I went to a tackle shop to buy everything new and started fishing again.

In the year 2004 Proline called me and asked if we could do some business together. I went to the company and was stunned by the hospitallity of Proline. After a short conversation we decided to work together. In 2007 Proline asked me if I wanted to become one of their fieldtesters. I did not have to think about it for one second and became a fieldtester. Proline in my opinion is one of the biggest growing fishing company's in the benelux at the moment. Because of a great collaboration between them and us fieldtesters they are able to bring new products of high quality that are well tested and will help you catch more fish.
